At a Stand Still, (157)

Last week was a stressful week for me and when I am stress I tend to eat more and gain weight, but luckily no weight gain just a stand still @ same weight from last week which is 157, I put in a good 5 day workout so that may have something to do with me not gaining, I ll take that!
Today has been good, a great workout, I had a light breakfast, a home made chicken salad for lunch and a apple pecan chicken salad from Wendys for dinner, my last meal was at 9pm and I will be drinking water for the rest of the night.

I took a ride on the Wild Side

I had a great dinner today, not the norm of what I normally eat but my body can afford it. So there,it was good and satisfying. I am sure this meal will last me till about 9pm - 10 pm tonight and I will follow it up with a late snack.
Lightly seasoned baked chicken, yellow spinach rice, ( 3-table spoons) came seasoned and high on carbs thats why I didnt eat so much, mixed vegges, green beans and sweet peas, last but not least my all time every day meal, house salad, with ceaser dressing, chopped pecans and salad toppings, Yep!

Dont 4get to wash your fruit and vegetables

Do you know how important it is to wash you fruits and vegetable before you eat them? Well if not, very important, bacteria such as Listeria, Salmonella and E. Coli may all be lurking on your fruits and vegetables, whether they are organically grown or conventionally grown. These bacteria all cause food-borne illness and need to be washed away from your produce. I mean, really,do you know where they have been prior to getting to the Supermarket? Do you know how many hands in the fields and orchards handled your fruit and vegetable once they were ready for harvest?Unless your fruits and vegetables are organic, they grew up in fields covered in pesticides and herbicides. Although the pesticide residues on fruits and vegetables are considered to be at safe levels for human consumption, do you really want those extra chemicals on your food.
I am always in the kitchen washing my lettuce when it comes from the store, I mainly eat iceburg and spinach lettuce, so one day I was washing my spinach lettuce that came pre wash in a plastic bag and Lo and behold a Lady-bug came flying out and that was so disturbing to me, Im just glad I had sense enough to wash the lettuce, I probably would not have died but Im sure I would have gotten sick, so let remember you guys wash wash wash those fruits and veges!
I simply use water and a tad bit of antibacterial dish detergent and I let my fruit and vegges soak 2 to 5 min and I rinse with cold water and I also use a product called "Veggie Wash" from the makers of Citrus Magic, this product safely removes Pesticides, Waxes, Chemicals and Soil.
