Ive been on a diet, weight challenge, healthy eating, or what ever you wanna call it, along with a high school friend, for a week now, and has lost 3pds... I started at 165 now at 162 and my goal is 145, which will be perfect for my frame, 5ft 7 in. I am finding myself very serious and I havent been this serious in a long time, and I am thinking cause I have a weight loss partner to share success and failures with makes it a little easier.
At this point I have no paticular diet, I am making up meals as I go, two of my goals are to cut back on the gum and coffee, I tend to chew alot of gum, soon as the flavor is out I am on to the next one, Im talking bout a pack a day which is loaded with sugar, it keeps me from eating but it is a unhealthy habit. Coffee which I love is another that I abuse, loaded with sugar (splenda) but I add alot of cream, and cappuccino to it, and I will have at least 3 cups 7 days a week from the local gas station, So what I did was got smart and went out purchased my own coffe machine and it has help me cut back tremendously and just small cut backs like that can mean so much.
Working out is not a big issue for me, for I love the gym, I love the way it makes me look, but I must say a good diet and gym go hand and hand, cause if not you will not see no results. I generally, walk 2miles and run 2miles a day 5 days a week, along with 1 to 2 fitness classes (pilates, strength training) 5 days a week. Lets just say I get it in.
